I haven't actually taken a Drawing class for about 3 years. So, even though I think Life Drawing may be a bit of a challenge for me in the beginning, I think it's a challenge that I am willing to achieve. The body is a beautiful form, Life Drawing allows the artist to take great detail in time in seeing how the body is positioned. Also, being a sculpture major allows me to see drawing in a 3 dimensional way.

A bit about Meee.
My name is Julie Mirenda and I'm a fifth year Senior at the University of Wisconsin Stout pursing a degree in Studio ArT with a concentration in Sculpture. I grew up in a small town in Southern Wisconsin called East Troy, WI. I've been influenced by experiences and things around me that make me the creative person I am, which has a large impact on my work. I hope to graduate, work full time and then move on to Graduate school out of State. Overall, I want to push my ideas and thoughts in the next few months and really develop a good series of work.
